The award-winning Wagner Power Tex texture sprayer features a powerful built-in air turbine that generates enough air flow to spray professional-looking texture on walls, ceilings, and other hard surfaces. Because the turbine is built into the sprayer, there's no air compressor or long air hoses required. The turbine is rated at 120 volts, 3.7 amps, and 60 Hertz. The Wagner Power Tex has received the "Member Tested and Recommended" seal and the "Contractor Tested and Recommended" seal from the Handyman Club of America.
Hopper Adjusts for Ceilings or Walls
The Power Tex features a large, one-gallon, two-position hopper that can be quickly configured for spraying either ceilings or walls without the need for adapters. Simply fill the hopper with water-based texture material--the same stuff the pros use--plug the hopper into a standard 15-amp wall socket, and spray. The hopper's three-point stand will stabilize the unit, making filling a snap, and the built-in arm rest will keep you comfortable while you work.
Lock-n-Go Technology for Quick and Easy Use
Featuring Wagner's Lock-N-Go Technology, the Power Tex is easy to set up and clean anywhere--no tools required. Assembly takes just minutes: lock the air turbine onto the back of the spray gun with a simple twist and fit the hopper into place on the top of the gun. Screw on the desired nozzle and the Power Tex is ready to go.
Cleaning the Power Tex is also a breeze. Simply remove the air turbine, hopper, and nozzle from the spray gun and clean with the included brush and warm, soapy water. Let dry and reassemble the unit for storage--it's that easy!

Wow. Will never go back to the canned texture spray again! Took some time to make sure my thickness of my texture "batter" was right and did a few trials outside. Once I was satisfied, I moved inside and completely textured my 8x10 bathroom. Worked great. My house has a very heavy knockdown texture, and my results were just slightly less than that. Mine was like a moderately thick pancake batter and I used the biggest nozzle. Stood about 2 feet away from walls. I was concerned that I would have to get it right on the first pass, but realized that I could make multiple passes, and could make my passes faster or slower to adjust application. I ended up using the "pink" premixed lightweight joint compound from HD and thinned it quite a bit with lots of water. Had one of those squirrel cage paint mixers that attaches to drill. Don't see how anyone could mix batter appropriately without one of those. The pink compound goes on pink, but drys clear. Helped me see how my texture application was going. Sprayer was VERY easy to clean. I don't think fondly of a lot of Wagner products, but they hit a home run on this one.

I love this machine. Following the advice of a previous reviewer regarding the critical latex paint consistency of the mud should be followed to the letter to assure success. The pancake batter consistency recommended by the enclosed manufacturer's instruction is a formula for failure. I highly recommend this product. Thanks, Wagner.
